The year 2011 is pretty remarkable for me. I have brought Sony XBR-55HX929 television and upgraded some of my audio and video equipment. Prior to having this LED television, I used to have my Sony KDL55NX810 hanging on my living room. I love it dearly since last year and still using it. However, after getting my latest Sony HDTV, it is now comfortably sitting on my master bedroom. I still love KDL-55NX810 as it performs almost 80% of my latest TV.  However, Sony XBR-55HX929 Features are much more attractive.

When my Sony TV arrived, I am more excited than ever. I opened the slim but rugged box to check my TV. There are remote control (RM-YD061), an attached power cord to tv, table top tv stand, documentation relating to the tv and of course, Sony tv. Have check Sony XBR55HX929 Specifications and all is in tip top condition.

Immediately, I do the quick set up to check out the picture quality with my KDL55NX810 and to my disappointment, the picture look similar. Both video quality look pretty the same. I have wasted more than 3 Grand for a piece of art! My heart was throbbing and feel like returning or selling it away.

Hey, I and an audiophile and videophile for almost a decade and something strike me. Almost all electronic audio and video components perform best with some burn it for a certain period of time. So, I let my Sony XBR55HX929 turn on for a couple of hours and play my burn in disc. At the same time, I check for any dead pixel on the my high definition television too.

After 24 hours of anticipation, I play my favorite Tron Legacy 3D Blu-ray on my Sony XBR-55HX929. Now, something begins to rock. I can see so much improvement in picture quality as compare to my old Sony KDL-55NX810.

I am not just talking about the fast motion flow technology whereby you can see crystal clear fast motion picture without blurred. I am talking about 3D realism. I get the depth of field like never before. The one that I experience at Universal Studio watching Shriek in 3D movie.

Coming to Tron Legacy, when watching the Tron Light Cycle, I experience the fast moving vehicles coming 10 meters from my right heading to the last meter towards me. Suddenly, it shoot off to the right in split seconds! Wow! This stunning visual experience combing with my High End Audio system is simply breath taking! Love the encounter every seconds…
